ISLAMABAD: The federal Cabinet has decided to implement a uniform loadshedding schedule across country and uninterrupted supply of electricity during Iftar, Sahar, and Taraveeh, Geo News reported.
The Cabinet met here today with Prime Minister Syed Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in the chair and deliberated upon the prevailing energy crisis in the country.
The meeting also decided to increase the number of seats of minorities according to their population.
Federal Secretary Water & Power briefed the ministers about the power generation. The Cabinet was informed that shortfall has reduced to 3500 MW and by the end of this year at least 2000 MW would be added to the national grid.
